Even During a Pandemic, We need To Talk About Divorce
This is Parenting Tip Tuesday but I have a guest for this episode. Welcome back Gabrielle Hartley to the program.
Gabrielle reached out to me and asked if she could come on the podcast to talk about helping many couples who are quarantine together who might be facing a possible divorce during these uncertain times.
Gabrielle talks about making sure that there are safe spaces in the house. No matter how big or small a dwelling is. This is also an opportunity to create a vision board and, I really had not thought that divorce would bring up that project but it was. One other thing was about just slowing down.
Please, my call to you is that even though you and your former spouse might not like each other. Now it is even more important to be kinder. Yes, for the kids but also for your sanity too.

Co-parenting in a Coronavirus World
I have seen several blogs and articles written about how to co-parent during this epidemic.
A traditional family might not be able to understand how different the kids of divorce truly have it. Meaning that they might go months without seeing their parents.
Currently, many states are requiring their citizens to stay home. This can impact divorced families.
For example; according to the newspaper "The South African," the citizens are now being told they need to stay home for 21 days. This means that in a divorce situation that who has the kids currently will maintain them until the 21 days have passed.
Here are my thoughts on this audio about what to do currently but also going forward.
1. Both Co-parents need to put their ego's aside. The needs of the kids should always come first.
2. Communication is so key talking to your form spouse. Each day there are different rules depending on your state, city and even your county when it comes to being quarantined. You must work together and talk about how each other will handle in case there is a mandatory rule of staying home.
3. Technology will be very useful to the kids as far as them being able to stay in contact with the other parent. Please allow the kids to use video chat platforms. Again this is NOT about you.
4. Play in the sand in a nice way. This is a good time to hold off on any silly and petty issues between the two of you.
I hope the audio helps and let me know what you are doing when it comes to co-parenting during these times.
Please share this with other parents as well as leave a rating and review to help me live my dream of doing this podcast full time. Thank you so very much.

Two Podcasters Doing What They Love to do
During this past weekend, Johhny sent me a text asking if we could put something together to talk about what is going on in the world currently but to just have some fun talking.
So, here we are.
We touch on:
Please, not only subscribe to each of our podcasts but also leave ratings and reviews. We both are trying to build our own media companies and DO NOT want another day job.
