Still missing this guy.
I was watching HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. On this episode there was an interview with David Feherty who is a former pro golfer but today has his own talk show as well as a golf commentator. A very funny man Feherty is but this episode was not about being funny.
Recently Feherty lost his son. As a dad I felt so much pain and emotions while watching this that I just had the water works.
Watching and hearing about this loss of life I just sat in bed crying and could not stop.
I call my depression "fog" but was it depression or was it just emotions from a couple of weekends ago?
On the last episode of the Blending The Family podcast I talked about spending time with my son Connor as well as the passing of our family dog Duke (pictured).
My thought is that I still had emotions inside of me that needed to come out and the story of Feherty and his family did just that, brought it out of me.
I mentioned on this episode three books that I want you to please read.
3. Rick Warren
